Community Coach Card – Ms. Navratil

Due to the high student turnout we usually see for the Running Club/Cross Country in the fall, and the Track and Field team in the spring, we benefit greatly from parental assistance/coaching help!

Parental ‘coaching’ can take on many different forms – from marking a route as a human pylon and encouraging our runners… to leading a small or large group activity… to assisting with organization on the day of a meet… help in all forms is much appreciated!

Parents working with student athletes are encouraged have a Community Coach Card.  Interested parents can attend a Community Coach workshop with the signed form (see link below) from the principal to receive accreditation.  A police background check will be required at some point as well – either before or after the workshop (cost of this to be covered by school council).

There are Spring Community Coaching Clinics being run on the following dates (4:30-5:15pm):

South – Forest Hill P.S. – Apr. 9
East – 140 Borough Drive – Apr. 9
North – Cummer Valley MS – Apr. 9
West – Hilltop MS – Apr. 15

Please print and have the following form signed by Ms. Patrick and Ms. Navratil.  Bring it to one of the above sessions –  your coaches card will arrive at Pape School in roughly 2 weeks.
